About Tom

Being involved in the automotive industry in one way or another since leaving education, it was only right that I got stuck into some driving of my own.

In 2016 I obtained my BARS Rally Licence and 2017 would see my first handful of rallies, on both tarmac and gravel. In 2018, I became Welsh Mixed Surface Rally Champion after a close battle among the top 3.
In 2019 and 2020, I chose to focus on coaching others coming into the sport, and doing some enjoyable co-driving outings, too.

For 2021, I got a taste for hillclimb racing, with historic Shelsley Walsh on my doorstep - this also led me to passing my ARDS Race Licence and as such, in 2022 and 2023 I also enjoyed competitive hillclimb and sprint race outings at Loton Park, Prescott and Goodwood.

I have also been honoured to drive at Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside other prestigious motor racing events.

For my day job I am a supplier of racewear for a leading brand/manufacturer where we provide expertise, consultancy and equipment for use in many disciplines of racing including WRC, WEC and F1 as well as prestige vehicle manufacturers.
